Hoh Law Corporation recently achieved a successful outcome in a Singapore High Court case involving a disputed ESG fund investment. The matter arose after investors sought to recover losses following the failed redemption of their investments and alleged misrepresentation by various parties.
The case was led by our director, Ms Margaret Yeow, together with Associates Wong Jun Sean and Lim Yi Hui Louise, who acted for the third party in defending a contribution claim linked to these allegations. After trial, the Court found that there was no evidence the investors relied on any false statements when making their investments. As a result, all claims for fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation were dismissed.
With no liability established, the contribution claim against our client was also dismissed.
