TREE BRANCH CAUSES PARALYSIS IN WOMAN – SHE GETS $500,000

A woman was walking along North Bridge Road on 25 August 2008 when branches from a tree growing in St. Andrew’s Cathedral fell on her body. She was admitted to the Singapore General Hospital where she had to go through multiple intensive operations, but her injuries ultimately left her paralyzed.

MAN IN VEGETATIVE STATE AFTER IMPACT FROM FALLEN TREE BRANCH

A Malaysian national, Mr Lee Kar Choon, was riding his motorcycle along Admiralty Road West towards his workplace when a tree branch along the road fell and caused him to be flung off his vehicle. He lapsed into a coma due to the impact and was later admitted into the hospital where he was found to have sustained serious head injuries.
